PT. AJAY CHAKRABORTY’S ‘MAATRI-RUPENA VIDYA-RUPENA’ TO BE HELD AT KALAMANDIR

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata 19^th June, 2016: Matri-Rupena Vidya-Rupena a noble musical concert is going to be held at Kalamandir on 25th June at 6.30 pm based on the theme of Women Empowerment and Child Education. Noted singer Smt. Jayati Chakraborty and the legend Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty is expected to perform in the program. Panditji told TNI about the concert. He said, “Vice President of BB&T Bank Mr. Tridib Paul is very close to me. He has requested me to do something about his daughter Ms. Oindrila Paul, venture to collect money for serving the underprivileged women’s education and empowerment. After hearing that, I designed the concert with my student Jayati who is also like my daughter. The theme is Matrirupena as Women Empowerment and Vidyarupena as Child Education. Oindrila, now a teenage girl plans to donate a total Rs. 2 Lakhs in the Chief Minister Relief Fund.  We entrusting the money to the Information Technology Minister Bratya Basu.”
